About the Bike Hub

The idea for the Bike Hub comes from the students we meet in high schools. As we teach teens to ride a bike safely, and then give them a bike, we find that they struggle to pay for the cost of repairs.

To meet our mission of empowering youth to be healthy and resilient through using a bicycle to meet everyday destinations, we realized that we need to make sure youth had access to low-cost parts and support to repair their bikes. Our team of bike fixers are working on bikes everyday. We decided to build a public space so others can work along side them.

Partnership with Bathtub Bikes

We didn’t really want to get into the bike parts retail business, so we’ve partnered with Adam Rhind, at Bathtub Bikes to be our retail partner. New and used parts can be purchased from Bathtub, right on site.

We ask that you please purchase the parts from Bathtub BEFORE installing them on your bike.

Volunteering Opportunities

There will also be an opportunity to volunteer to support Youth en Route’s Kids Bike Trade Up and to support refurbishing bikes to go to graduates of our school programs.

Ask when you’re at the Bike Hub.
